What is politics? It looks like the classic question of a million dollars. Indeed it is: how to define such a complex phenomenon, so full of facets and aspects? I think it's impossible. But try to explain it, a personal opinion, asking the same question, I think it's normal, physiological quasi. Quindi cos’è questa politica?
Anzitutto vorrei lasciarmi alle spalle l’accezione negativa del termine o, meglio, quella che io considero l’accezione negativa del termine. Dire politica non significa dire giochi di potere, compromessi, promesse mancate, campagne elettorali e seggi, scontri, parole dette e non dette, linguaggi assurdi e incomprensibili. In parte, in realtà, può voler significare anche questo, ma non è mia intenzione sottolineare, al momento, questo aspetto.
Non definirò ora cosa significa per me politica in senso storico o filosofico. Cercherò di darne una visione compatibile con la vita di tutti giorni.
La politica è niente più di uno strumento per regolare e oliare gli ingranaggi della macchina sociale. La politica rientra in ogni aspetto della vita sotto forma di idee, opinioni, discussioni e iniziative; ed è molto triste che si veda la politica come attività partitica. Io cercherei di definirla più come “coscienza sociale”. Non è un termine politichese: lo giuro. E non significa “coscienza di classe” nor has any other meaning strange. "Social Consciousness" means politics from below, from society, society, means striving for something new, something better.
I believe this is politics. And I think, nowadays, in our country, it is very difficult to give a positive reading is so much disillusionment, cynicism, disappointment. It is not our fault, or at least it is only in part: we get used to seeing, thinking, a policy sometimes drab, sometimes empty, an end in itself or the selfishness of individuals. Very often we let them do, more often we try to fit into the same mechanisms are the only confident that allow us to express ourselves.
Other routes are: create debate, discussion, create ideas and opinions. E 'to the "social conscience" that our commitment must go to redeem the word "politics" from the void into which we dropped. Or at least that's my idea.
