USA: OFF-ROAD TO ANSWER PHONE, 5 CHILDREN DIE
WASHINGTON - Five children died drowned in a car over off-road in a channel in Houston, Texas, after the driver lost control of the vehicle to try to answer a call your mobile. The man, a father of four of the five victims, and a second adult who was in the car managed to get out of the Lincoln Towncar and to safety. But only a little girl of ten, including six children who were in the car, was rescued before drowning in the waters of Green's Bayou, a local channel. The victims are two girls, one and three years, three males and four, six and seven years. A Houston police spokesman John Cannon told CNN that the driver of the vehicle has failed an alcohol test and is now under investigation: could an indictment for driving under the influence of alcohol and homicide.
